Special Colors

Hey guys,

here are some special colors and tail baits. Hope you guys like it :-)
I cant wait to see them in the water. Unfortunately is it currently very hard.

Jig Rod SS3

Hey guys,

here is a new rod I´ve made during these cold days.

It's an 9' 2pc rod for softbait applications.
The rod is very fast and sensitive. Coz of the cold weather with over-20°C is not yet possible to test the rod on the water. But soft baits up to 9" shall be work with her.

The guides are Fuji Titanium K-Guides (9+1).
Some parts like winding checks, butt cap and guides are ordered at Matagi Japan.
I´ve painted the seat, who shall fit to a Stella.

während der letzten kalten Tage habe ich wieder eine neue Rute gebaut.

Es ist eine 9' Gummirute.
Die Rute ist sehr schnell und sensibel. Wegen des kalten Wetters mit Temp. von über -20°C , war es noch nicht möglich sie am Wasser zu testen.
Aber Gummifische bis 23cm sollten sich gut fischen lassen.

Verbaut wurden Fuji K-Titanringe (9+1).
Einige Teile, wie Winding Checks, Abschlusskappe und Ringe habe ich von Matagi Japan.
Den Rollenhalter habe ich so lackiert, dass er möglichst zu einer Stella passt.

Some Pikes...

Short before the closed season starts, did went to the lake for a last fishing trip.
Heavy rain, strong wind (up to Beaufort #5) and cold temperature where not that cosy.
But we got in almost 5 hours 11 Pikes up to 75cm.
All Pikes have bitten on my lures :-)

New Lures

Hey guys,

I´ve made some new lures. Some "Victim XL" and some "Victim L". As you can see do the most guys love the color Pike much. But we caught a lot on "Ghost" as well. Its an unexpected nice color.

Due to a mistake by me. I´ve drilled the holes for the lead in the opposite site where they normally belong. So have I make a "Belly-up" version. Even if  the lure looks preposterous, does the lure move very well.

Hallo Leute,

habe ein paar neue Köder gebaut. Ein paar "Victim XL" und ein paar "Victim L". Wie ihr sehen könnt mögen die meisten das Hechtdekor. Aber auf den "Ghost" haben wir auch schon richtig abgeräumt. Eine unerwartet gute Farbe.

Aufgrund meiner Schusseligkeit, habe ich die Löcher für das Blei auf der falschen Seite gebohrt. So habe ich dann eine Belly-up Version draus gebaut. Auch wenn es etwas grotesk ausschaut, läuft der Köder sehr gut.

Foil

I got a gift from my sis, but the wraping foil was much more interessting for me.
Its my my first attempt with that kind of foil.


Habe ein Geschenk von meiner Schwester bekommen. Die Folie war aber am interessantesten.
Das ist mein erster Versuch mit dieser Art Folie.

2nd Advent

I havnt burn a candle today, but I was on the water to test some lures.
We caught some little pikes this afternoon. On on my new lure, a dive and rise bait.
It´s just not the biggest on. but Im happy with.



Habe heute keine Kerze entzündet, war aber dafür am Wasser, um ein paar Köder zu testen.
Wir haben heute Nachmittag ein paar kleine Hechte bekommen. einen auf meinen neuen Köder, einen "Diver".
Es ist zwar nicht der Größte, aber ich freue mich.

CTS in leather

Hey guys,

I build a rod again. This time for me. The rod is based on a CTS-Cat Fish 9' Blank (CC901-2).

The blank has a med/fast taper  with a really nice reset force. I shortened the Blank down to 8'8", to make the rod more useful for bait casting.

It was the plan to make something special, that no one have. Mamoru (the Matagi man) helps me a lot to get the reel seat parts and the carbon pipe beyond the attachment parts. The guides are American Tackle titanium guides from Mudhole (USA). I choose the sizes between #16and #6 plus a Fuji T-MNST #6.

The special thing on this rod is the stitched stingray leather and the plate reel seat wit a Fuji PSS-trigger.

I built the rod for jigging applications and to use hard baits sometimes as well. The preferred field of application are the Bodden waters around the island Rügen.
The first day of fishing, unfortunately without fish, was really nice.
Its fun to cast the rod and its easy and precisely. Lures between 60g  (~2oz) and 130g (~ 4 5/8oz) are match perfect to the rod.
The feeling withe leather is really awesome. Even with wet fingers and wet rod have I felt secure all the time. Its just a kind of massage in your hands.

Well, its a bit sad, that I had no fish but I´m sure I´ll catch one with this rod. And it will be fun!

habe wieder eine Rute gebaut. Dieses Mal für mich. Die Rute basiert auf einem CTS-Catfish- 9' Blank (CC901-2).

Der Blank hat ein med/fast Taper mit einem gutem Rückstellvermögen. Habe ihn auf 2,50m gekürzt um den Blank für die spätere Baitcastanwendung  besser händelbar zu machen.

Der Plan war es eine Rute zu bauen, die niemand in der Form hat.  Dank an Mamoru von Matagi, der mir half die Rollenhalterteile und das Carbonrohr zu besorgen. Die Ringe sind American Tackle Titanium Ringe von Mudhole (USA). Die Größen liegen zw. #16 und #6 plus Fuji T-MNST in #6.

Ich denke das spezielle an der Rute ist das genähte Perlrochenleder und der Schieberollenhalter mit PSS-Trigger von Fuji.

Die Rute habe ich zum jiggen und für Hardbaits gebaut und wollte sie vornehmlich am Bodden einsetzen.
Leider verlief der erste Einsatz dort Fischlos. Davon ab, war es trotzdem schön.
Mit der Rute zu werfen macht viel Spaß und es wirft sich leicht und präzise. Köder zw. 60g und 130g passen sehr gut zu der Rute.
Beim Fischen ist das Gefühl mit dem Leder, der Hammer. Selbst mit nassen Fingern und nasser Rute hat man immer einen sicheren Griff. Zudem fühlt es sich immer wie eine kleine Massage an ;-)

Ein bisschen schade, dass es keinen Fisch gab. Aber ich bin sicher, er wird kommen. Ist es dann soweit, wird es viel Spaß machen!
